A former marathon runner, terrified of the gym, CrossFit, and anything heavy or hard, has found her new love – HYROX.

After retiring my Asics, I drifted from one fitness idea to the next, searching for a new “why” to fill the social, mental, and physical gap running left behind. At the time, I was scared of anything gym-related.

It started with strength training, then took off when I discovered HYROX – a sport that reignited my love of running while adding the challenge of strength, power, and mental grit. Winning my division at HYROX Sydney still blows my mind, especially for a runner who once had no clue about this world.
