ATHX Games is a 2.5-hour hybrid fitness competition combining a test of strength, endurance and functional conditioning.

Urban Fitness has been selected as a regional training hub for ATHX training in New Zealand.

This is where your preparation starts.

What is ATHX?

ATHX Games isn't a running race and it isn't a weightlifting meet. It's a true hybrid competition that pulls from both — and everything in between.

Six zones. One continuous event. One set challenge that changes each year, designed to test every aspect of your fitness. 

Strength, Endurance and MetCon X are the three competitive zones — Warm-Up, Refuel and Recovery are built into the format around them.

Divisions cover both experience level and age group — so you're always competing against your peers.

It's inclusive without being easy.

How It Works

Warm-Up Zone

A dedicated space to mobilise, activate, and get competition-ready before stepping onto the ATHX floor.

Strength Zone

Where a true test of strength awaits, get ready, lock in, and start lifting.

Refuel Zone

A place to recover, rehydrate, and recharge so you're ready for what's next.

Endurance Zone

This workout will challenge your engine with sustained, high-output work that tests your stamina and grit.

Recovery Zone

Your space to reset and recharge, with the latest recovery tech so you're ready for the final push.

MetCon X Zone

A workout built to put your functional fitness to the test and leave it all on the Comp Floor.
